Context
IONEWS is a company specializing in solutions for official presses, with a focus on the automation, production and management of official gazettes. The challenge was to develop a template for official gazette websites, allowing users to consult and view daily editions, as well as access the online archive of past editions.
The template had to meet specific requirements: be modular and highly customizable to adapt to the visual identities of different clients, while at the same time conveying modernity, seriousness and reliability, essential characteristics for public bodies.
Research and Strategy
The project began with a detailed research stage to define the objectives and map out the needs of the target audience.
Analysis of current design: we investigated the layouts used on current clients' websites to identify patterns, limitations and opportunities for improvement.
Customization and visual identity: we understand how each management would like to customize the template, ensuring flexibility to meet the varied visual identities of public bodies.
Visual research: we explored graphic elements that balanced modernity and seriousness, such as neutral color palettes, institutional typography and clear visual hierarchies.

Design and Development
After consolidating the initial insights, we moved on to the design phase.
Wireframes and information architecture: we created wireframes to define the site's structure, information architecture and navigation flow. We developed two approaches:
Traditional: inspired by previous website design, for a more conservative audience.
Modular and modern: an adaptable design with modular components, allowing for greater customization and flexibility.

After validation meetings, we developed a third solution, which combined aspects of the more traditional and more modern options.
High-fidelity prototyping: we created detailed prototypes for desktop and mobile, ensuring that the user experience was fluid on all platforms. We paid special attention to the mobile version, given that many users consult the official gazettes directly from mobile devices.
The project was successfully completed, delivering a template that meets all the technical, commercial and visual requirements.
